PRODUCT INFORMATION ‑ SPECIFICATION ‑ HEALTH & SAFETY SHEET

Product:
PRO 4 Maintainer/Floor Finish

PRO 4 is a combination of high powered cleaning agents together with specially prepared Thermoplastic additives to ensure good protection and to enhance the gloss of Pro 4 floor dressing.

Use Pro 4 to clean the floor on a regular basis, diluted to the correct concentration, either by damp mopping, automatic scrubber-driers or light spray cleaning.

The floor can then be buffed with high or ultra speed (1500-2500rpm) machines if desired, which will produce a very high gloss; anti-slip finish.

If the floor starts to lose its lustre or looks soiled, lightly scrub with Pro 4 to a clean condition without completely removing all the treatments.  When the floor is dry apply a coat of concentrated Pro 4 and burnish when dry.

In heavy traffic areas a further coat of Pro 4 may be necessary.
Providing the above system is adhered to stripping should be a thin of the past.
Pro 4 can be used neat on certain types of floor coverings to achieve a satin finish.

Recommended Uses:

Rubber,Vinyl, Vinyl Asbestos, Thermoplastic, Asphalt, Linoleum, Composition, Terrazzo, Marble, Concrete, Quarry Tiles, Ceramic Tiles, Brick, Wood and Cork floors

DIRECTIONS FOR USE

Dust control all floor surfaces before cleaning programme starts.

DAMP MOPPING TREATED FLOORS: Half a cupful (100ml) of Pro 4 in 5 litres of water.  When dry, buff if a higher gloss is required.

DAMP MOPPING UNTREATED FLOORS: One cupful (200ml) of Pro 4 in 5 litres of water.  Gradually reduce the concentration when a gloss starts to appear.

If a higher gloss is desired, buff daily with a high or ultra speed machine.  Buffing produces a high gloss finish.
The frequency has to be decided upon according to the conditions prevailing.

SPRAY BUFFING OR SPRAY CLEANING TREATED FLOORS:  Use Pro 4 at a dilution of 50ml to a 600ml spraygun, then fill with water.

SPRAY BUFFING OR SPRAY CLEANING ON UNTREATED FLOORS:  Use 300ml in a 600ml spraygun.  When gloss satisfaction is reached gradually  reduce the concentration.

AUTOMATIC SCRUBBER DRIERS:  Daily maintenance is half a cupful (100ml) of Pro 4 in 10 litres of water.  In the case of heavy traffic a stronger solution may be used.

PRO 4 AS A FLOOR FINISH:  Make sure the floor surface is thoroughly cleaned from previous treatments by using Pro 1
Then apply two neat coats evenly on the floor surface.  Buff between coats when dry using a soft pad.  Daily maintenance will vary according to the traffic conditions.
If a satin finish is required do not buff.

PRO 4 APPLIED NEAT ON WORN EMULSION FLOOR DRESSINGS:  First make sure the floor surface is clean, then apply 1 or 2 coats on the worn area.
Buff when dry, using a soft pad, then apply a further coat over the whole floor area.
When this is dry, buff the floor to produce a high gloss finish.

For even better results use an ultra speed machine.
